My Philips iron is not heating up

If your iron does not heat up, there can be several reasons. Please find out how we can help you.

There is a connection problem

Please check the mains cord, the plug and the wall socket. Make sure everything is properly connected.

The temperature dial has been set to MIN

Set the temperature dial to the required temperature.

The iron has dual voltage setting

Make sure that the voltage setting on the appliance is set according to your location, ie, either 120V or 240V.
