Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use baking paper or tin foil in the Philips Low Fat Fryer?

Yes, you can use baking paper or aluminum foil in the Philips Low Fat Fryer, but make sure you follow the instructions below for safe use.

Keep in mind:

Never cover the basket bottom completely with this or any other material. To cook the food well, there needs to be a proper airflow through the basket. If you cover the bottom of the basket, this reduces the airflow in the basket, which diminishes the cooking performance of your Low Fat Fryer.

Note:

Never put baking paper or aluminum foil in the Low Fat Fryer without placing food on it, otherwise the baking paper/aluminum foil could be sucked in by the heating element where it could start to burn. Also make sure that the baking paper or aluminum foil you use, is only slightly bigger than the food you cook.
